JETT
Jett is both CKC & APRI registered and comes to us from Springfield, Missouri. He is a proven stud and has produced several beautiful litters with a variety of color.
Jett is a black and tan long haired who has a beautiful lush long coat. He has a gentle personality and particularly loves men. He loves to cuddle up on the couch and watch tv with us during our family nights.
Uhtred
Uhtred is both CKC & APRI registered and comes from South Carolina. He is a proven male and has produced several litters with a variety of color. Uhtred is a blue and tan smooth haired who weighs 10 pounds. He has a beautiful mild personality and loves to be wherever we are. Many would described him as a lap baby. We absolutely love his disposition.
Jovie
Jovie is both CKC & APRI registered and came to us from Florida. She is now retired from breeding, but stills rules the kennel as the matriarch of Newman Miniature Dachshunds. Her daughters and granddaughter are still in our breeding program, carrying on her impressive pedigree with containing several AKC championships. Jovie is red dapple smooth hair who weighs 9 lbs. She is sweet but playful, and her strong prey drive shows while she watches birds!!(She would make an awesome hunting dog.) She loves to cuddle up on the couch and bury herself in blankets.
Suzy
Suzy is both CKC & APRI registered and comes from Nashville, Tennessee. She is a proven female and has produced several litters with black and tans and chocolate and tans. Suzy is a black and tan long haired with a long lush coat! Suzy weighs 10-11 lbs and has a beautiful mild and affectionate personality. Her conformation is great and we have kept one of her previous babies and will likely keep another from this upcoming litter. She is due early December 2024 .
SCarletT
Scarlett is both CKC & APRI registered. She is a proven female and has produced a couple litters with a variety of colors including several stunning silver dapples. Scarlett is a red dapple with a beautiful coat! Scarlett weighs 13.5 lbs mostly because she loves her treats- lol. Scarlett was born here and is the daughter of Jovie and our retired stud Duke. She has a great personality and she loves her people! We will hopefully keep a girl from her upcoming litter. She is due any minute! This photo was just taken at 55 days pregnant.
Vienna
Vienna is both CKC & APRI registered. She is a proven female and has produced several litters with a variety of colors including several stunning silver dapples and several stunning dapple pies. Vienna is a red dapple smooth coat even though she's often mistaken for a cream(her red is much lighter). Vienna weighs 11-12 lbs. like her full sister Scarlett(above), she was born here and is the daughter of Jovie and our retired stud Duke, she has a beautiful, affectionate personality and will be right by our side in everything we do. We will also likely keep from her next litter which will likely be in the spring of 2025.
Nala
Nala is both CKC & APRI registered. She is a proven female and has produced one litter in the past with sable and red variations. Nala is a red piebald smooth coat. Nala weighs 10 lbs. She is the daughter of Vienna and Uthred and the granddaughter of Jovie and our retired stud Duke. She has the most sweet and loving personality you'll find and loves her dad(Greg) more than anything. She is due early December, 2024 .
Dalli
Dalli is both CKC & APRI registered and comes from Springfield, Missouri. She is a proven female and has produced several litters with absolutely stunning dapple coloring. Dalli is a long haired black dapple, but most of her dappling is hidden and more of her tan is evident. She has a beautiful coat, stunning head and ear set. Dalli weighs 10-11 lbs and has a sweetheart personality. She loves her family and will always be wherever any of us are. Her upcoming litter she is due end of November, 2024 .
Rosie
Rosie is both CKC & APRI registered. She is the newest addition to our program and was bred right here at Newman Miniature Dachshunds. She is the daughter of Suzy and Jett. Rosie is a black and tan long haired and weighs 8.5 pound. she is nearly identical looking to her daddy and has such a long thick coat. She should have her first litter mid to late 2025 after she's fully developed and vetted.
